Following Uttar Pradesh Are Maharashtra With 45,331 Cases And Rajasthan With 45,058 Cases. Uttar Pradesh Also Leads In The Category Of Murder With Rape/Gang Rape, With 62 Such Cases Registered. For The Fourth Consecutive Year, Uttar Pradesh Has the Highest Number of Cases of Crimes against Women under IPC and Special and Local Laws (SLL). Additionally, The Conviction Rate In Uttar Pradesh Is 180 Times Higher Than The National Average, And The State Leads In Speedy Trials In Protection Of Children From Sexual Offences (POCSO) Cases.
